BEGINNINGS
THIS IS OUR VILLAGE

The Village is the brainchild of Marilyn Woodruff.  When taking an overall view of the future of the students in the Toccoa-Stephens County area, she became concerned with their preparation for college success and decided to do something about it.

During the 2013 Christmas season, while the entire family was together, she shared her passion for these students and the future of her community. Marilyn decided that by offering scholarships, local seniors would be encouraged to go to college. Her husband and children jumped on board to make that dream a reality.
